Our tropical plants are saying the same thing! So Brightview has shared News You Can Use to protect the plants around your home if you desire when temperatures drop below 50 degrees:

• Cover completely: Drape all the way to the ground to trap heat from the soil using a lightweight material like a cotton sheet or painters' cloth (allows air and sunlight to pass through).
• Anchor the covering: Use weights to prevent it from blowing away  
• Remove the covering: when the temperature rises, or the wind stops.

The December 30 e-mail from the HOA announced a special Board Meeting set for January 15th, 2025. Scope out the e-mail for more information on our first special assessment and vote. 

Highlights:

• Cost: $544,000 or $500 per home.
• What: to pay for expenses associated with the project for period January 1, 2025 through May 31, 2025, including: MHK Architect fees, KCM Project Management fees, furniture deposits and miscellaneous expenses.
• Due date of payment: February 15, 2025.
